ONSITE & ONLINE (Remote Bidding)
For Auctions displaying the ONSITE & ONLINE icon, bidding is available from the auction site, online via the internet, or by proxy.
Onsite or On location walk-around auctions are the most common type and are the most exciting. They are conducted live from the site where the assets are being offered for sale. It allows interested buyers to physically preview or inspect the assets up close prior to being put on the auction block. Interested buyers attend in person to bid on the item they desire thus creating the electric atmosphere that only bidding in person with a seasoned auctioneer on the stand can create.
Along with ONSITE bidding, registered buyers can bid ONLINE at live auctions using a bidding platform at BidSpotter®. Using their secure and highly reliable live webcasting applet complete with live audio and video feeds, buyers can follow along simultaneously with the auctioneer and the live ONSITE bidders.

For Auctions displaying the TIMED ONLINE icon, bidding is exclusively online via the internet in a staggered timed format.
Growing in popularity, timed auctions are easy to use and to bid for smaller or select equipment offerings. It allows the items to be bid on globally. They typically run for 24 hours and closing times on items for sale will be staggered to allow one bidder the opportunity to be successful on more than one item. These online auctions are easy to use and navigate.
